Anyone still using an old paper road atlas instead of GPS? Wait, I have a case for it
My phone died on a backroad outside Cleveland last spring and I had zero bars for 40 miles. I pulled out my 2014 Rand McNally from under the seat, the one I kept for the dog to sit on. Found a detour around a washed-out bridge that the GPS reroute never suggested anyway. Now I use it once a week just to plan trips and it never lies about traffic or battery. Three near-misses with dead zones sold me on keeping it in the glovebox forever. Has anyone else gone back to paper maps for the reliability factor or am I the only one still folding those giant pages?
