Everyone swears by the CRT filter on old games, but I went back to my 2006 Dell LCD and I'm not switching
I grabbed a 2006 Dell 2007FP off Facebook for $25 in Tacoma and colors pop way better than my blurry CRT. Anyone else ditch the scanlines or am I the only one?

I picked up a Dell 2007FPW at a garage sale in 2019 for $30 and felt kinda dumb for years because everyone said CRTs were the only way. My whole thing changed when I popped in Silent Hill 2 and saw how muddy it looked on my old Trinitron compared to the Dell. The fog was all smeared and the text was fuzzy, but on the LCD it was sharp and the reds actually looked red. I still keep a little CRT around for light gun games, but for everything else the flatscreen wins easy.
