My old Palm PDA came back to life as a second screen for spreadsheets
Pulled my Palm Tungsten E2 from 2005 out of a drawer last week and synced it to my PC just to see if it still worked, and now I use it to display my budget tables while I work on the main monitor. It loads the same doc file from 2008 without a hiccup, which surprised me way more than it should have. Anyone else repurposed a retired device instead of just tossing it back in the box?

Whoa, that's such a cool find! It kinda says something about how we're always chasing the newest thing, but the old stuff is often way more solid than we give it credit for. My dad still uses a 90s Casio watch because it just works, and honestly, that little dude has outlived three smartphones. Feels like we throw away perfectly good tech just because it's not shiny anymore, you know?
