Paid $60 for a 1998 Zip drive bundle, the disks are all dead now

Picked a 100MB Zip drive with 20 disks at a St. Louis estate sale. Thought I was getting a steal for my old backup project. Turns out the drive works but every single disk makes that clicking noise and fails. Has anyone else dealt with Zip disk rot or did I just buy a bad batch?

Clicking just means the drive heads are dirty, not always dead disks. Try cleaning em first.
