That Windows 98 machine at my dad's shop runs a dot matrix printer and a DOS inventory program from 1993
I was helping him clean out the back office in Fresno and found the machine still booting off a 5.25 floppy he made in 1996, running the whole parts counter without a single crash in 28 years. I tried plugging in a modern USB printer and the driver install blue screened the thing, so we just put the old Epson LX-300 back. Has anyone else kept a whole business running on hardware that predates Windows XP?
