A guy at the Dayton trade show said my multimeter was 'for hobbyists' and it got under my skin
I was at the appliance repair booth at the Dayton show 3 weeks ago showing a young tech how I test a dryer heating element and this old timer butts in and says real techs use a clamp meter for everything. Now half my calls I'm second guessing whether I should even pull out the meter I've used for 11 years. Do you stick with one tool you trust or switch it up depending on who's watching?
