Appreciation post: the day every call was an easy fix
Last Thursday I had five calls in a row where the problem was just a clogged filter or a loose wire nothing that required cutting into the machine or ordering parts. Has anyone else had a day like that where you almost felt guilty for charging them full price?

Oh man, those days are the best. Last spring I had three easy fixes in a row - a blown fuse on a compressor, a loose belt on a dryer, and a kid had just jammed a toy car in the vent. Took maybe twenty minutes total for all of them. Felt bad at first taking the service call fee, but the customers were happy and it beats the days where you're digging through a machine for hours.

Wait, kid stuffed a toy car in the vent? That's a new one on me. People really do find creative ways to break things. Makes my clogged filter jobs feel downright boring by comparison.
