Cheap Amazon heating element saved a $900 oven in Tulsa

Last month a whirlpool oven kept tripping the breaker and the OEM part was backordered for 3 weeks. I grabbed a generic heating element for $38 on Amazon and it fit perfectly, no rewiring needed. Anyone else gamble on off-brand elements when the customer is in a bind?
