Dispatch keeps overlapping our appointments and it's a mess
They booked me and another tech for the same apartment building this morning. We both showed up with full toolkits, had to figure out who takes which unit. Wasted an hour sorting it out while the residents got annoyed. This happens way too often and someone needs to sort the booking system.

I read that ServiceTitan's dispatch module has a setting to prevent double-booking within a certain radius. Your scheduler might just need to flip that switch.

Man, that's a total waste of time. I read a forum thread where techs talked about dispatch systems with built in overlap protection. It can auto block bookings within a certain distance if there's already a job there. Your apartment building issue is textbook why that needs to be on. So many headaches could be avoided with a simple check. I'd be pushing hard for a system update or at least getting someone to check the settings.

Ever wonder if those systems actually work as well as they sound? We had something similar turned on at my old shop, and it blocked a job because the addresses were one digit off, like 123 Main St versus 123A Main St. The customer was furious we couldn't send anyone, even though it was a totally separate house. Sometimes the tech fix causes its own problems, in my experience.
