I finally threw out the $65 "universal" control board kit that sat on my bench for 8 months
Bought one of those fits-everything control board kits from a supply house in Columbus back in January. Guy at the counter swore it would cover 9 out of 10 boards I see on dryers and ranges. It covered zero. Every job I pulled it out for, the connectors were wrong or the harness pinout was off. I kept it around thinking it would save me a trip someday. It just took up shelf space and I ended up ordering the real board anyway. Eight months, 65 bucks, and I never once got to use the thing. Any of you got a shelf full of parts that seemed like a good idea at the time?
