Just read about the real size of the Great Pyramid's workforce
I always thought it took like 100,000 people to build the Great Pyramid of Giza. Found a recent study from the Giza Plateau Mapping Project that says the crew was probably closer to 20,000 skilled workers, not a giant army of slaves. They found worker barracks and food remains that point to a smaller, well-fed, rotating team. Has anyone else seen newer research that changed a big fact they learned in school?

Remember when my buddy went to Egypt and his guide said something wild? He told him they found these tiny fish bones by the worker village, like a specific type from the Nile. The guide said it proved they were feeding the builders high-protein meals, which you wouldn't do for slaves. Totally flipped his whole idea of how it was built.

Oh wow, that's so cool! I had the same old idea about a huge slave army. It's wild how new finds can totally change the story like that.
