That 'Viking' spearhead from the local museum isn't actually Viking

I saw that display at the county museum three weeks ago, and the rust pattern and rivet placement don't match any confirmed Norse example from the 9th century - it looks way more like a 14th century local replica. Am I the only one who thinks the curators are just guessing based on what looks old enough?

Brought my own photos to compare and proved it to them with a side by side.

Oh man, I used to be one of those people who thought "well maybe you just missed the sale or read the tag wrong"... but seeing actual side by side photos really changed things for me. Like when I saw someone put a shirt from two different stores next to each other and the sizing was totally off by like two inches in the chest... that was hard to argue with. I guess I just assumed most complaints were people being picky, but now I get that sometimes the product genuinely isn't what it's supposed to be. Those side by sides are pretty convincing evidence honestly.
