Checked out the new ramen spot in Clarendon and the broth was unreal
Headed to Tanpopo Ramen last Tuesday around 7pm, figured it would be packed but we got seats right away. The tonkotsu broth had this deep, creamy texture that I haven't found anywhere else in Arlington, and they let you pick your noodle firmness which I thought was a nice touch. Even the spicy miso bowl was balanced, not just heat for the sake of it, and it came out in under 10 minutes. I've tried a few places like Marumen and The Shop but this one felt more authentic to what I had in Tokyo. Anyone else been there yet, and what did you order on your first visit?
