PSA: The guy at the deli on Wilson Blvd said to skip the line at 12:30 and I did not listen
Last Tuesday I walked into that little deli off Wilson Blvd at 12:30 sharp, and the owner told me straight up, "come back at 1:15, same sandwich, no wait." I laughed and got in line anyway because I was hungry and sure he was just being friendly. Forty minutes later I had my turkey sub, and the guy behind the counter just smiled at me and said, "told you." Now I set a phone alarm for 1:10 and walk right in, and I have not waited more than 3 minutes since. Does anyone else have a spot in Arlington where the staff knows the crowd better than you do?
Skipping lunch rush line sounds nice but is a deli guy really out here studying crowd flow like a scientist? Idk, waiting 40 min for a turkey sub seems like the bigger problem here.
