Update: the Columbia Pike diner finally got its menu right
Stopped into that old diner on Columbia Pike near the CVS last Saturday. The place kept the same 1982 counter stools but they swapped the laminated menus for something simpler. I ordered the club sandwich and it was the first time in maybe 15 years I didn't have to send it back for missing bacon. The cook told me they got tired of the old short-order system and retrained everyone on a new ticket setup. Anyone else notice that spot getting better about consistency lately?
Oh wow, I actually heard about this from a neighbor who swears by their breakfast now. She said the same thing, that the food comes out right every time since they changed up how orders get sent to the kitchen. Guess I need to swing by and see for myself.
