Am I the only one who thinks the library archive trick is better than any search engine?
Last Tuesday I was at the main library in Columbus digging through their old city directory microfilm for a job address and a librarian showed me their digitized local history portal that Google NEVER surfaces. Now I'm stuck debating whether these weird old databases and archive sites are actually the smarter way to find stuff, or if it's just nostalgia and everyone should stick to search operators and filters. Which side are you on?
