Just realized my old neighborhood blog archives beat the city GIS site for weird plots

I was digging through a St. Paul forum from 2011 to settle a dispute about a vacant lot's old fence line, and some retired guy's photo thread had way more context than the official parcel maps ever gave me. The aerial shots changed after a 2014 sewer project, but the blog showed the before and after in a way the county site just doesn't. Anyone else rely on dead forums for land history tricks?
