Trying to find an old manual for a 1970s Delta drill press and a site: search on a forum I'd never heard of did it
I was looking for a manual for my dad's old Delta drill press and Google was only giving me new models. I tried adding "filetype:pdf" and got a bunch of unrelated stuff, but then I remembered someone mentioning site: search on old forums. I typed site:owwm.org delta drill press manual and the first result was a scanned PDF from 1974 that someone uploaded in 2009. It took me 20 minutes of digging through that forum to find the right thread, but it worked. Has anyone else had luck with site: searches on niche hobby forums for old stuff?
