Been tracking 400 thrift store board games for 8 months and the 'complete' label means nothing
I check every box against the parts list before I buy, and roughly 60% of games marked complete are missing at least one piece, usually dice or a single pawn. Last week a $3 copy of Risk at a Goodwill in Boise was missing 11 army pieces, so I passed and the guy behind me grabbed it anyway. Does anyone else do a parts check before buying, or do you just gamble on it?
