Got a compliment on my retro console repair from a complete stranger at a coffee shop
I was fixing a friend's old Sega Genesis at a local place on Elm street, and this older guy watched me reflow a solder joint. He said he hadn't seen anyone do that since his repair shop days back in '92. Made my whole week, has anyone else had a random stranger notice your niche skill out in the wild?

That's awesome, man. Honestly, I had a similar thing happen when I was fixing an old Game Boy at a diner and the waitress told me her son would lose his mind.
