I used to fold my fitted sheets into a ball, then a lady at a Laundromat in Reno showed me her trick
For about 8 years I just wadded up every fitted sheet and shoved it in the closet, because trying to fold those elastic corners felt impossible. Then 3 months ago at a Laundromat on S. Virginia St., a woman watched me wrestle with one and asked if she could try. She laid it flat, tucked both corners into each other like a little pocket, and had a neat square in under 20 seconds. I made her do it 4 more times so I could copy her, and now my whole linen closet fits on one shelf. Does anyone else have a weird sheet folding method, or am I the only one who went years without knowing this?
