My uncle in Bakersfield bet me $50 I couldn't solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded, and 4 months later I did it in 3 minutes
He thought it was impossible, but I learned the 3-cycle method and memorized the cube with a letter pair system, then nailed it at his birthday BBQ in front of 20 people. Now I'm hooked on blindfold solving and want to know if anyone else here picked up a weird skill just to win a bet?
