Volunteering at the county archive taught me more about paper repair than any YouTube video
After six months of flattening 1940s flood maps with a bone folder and wheat paste in that basement room, I finally got a 1937 plat book page to lie flat without tearing, so for anyone else working with old documents, does your local historical society let people practice on their damaged stuff or is that just a Nebraska thing?
