Dropped $180 on a "lifetime" knife sharpener at a mall kiosk in Toledo
The guy ran my chef's knife through it and it felt great, but 4 months later it chews up the blade and leaves a rough edge no matter what I do. My $25 whetstone from the hardware store does a better job if I take my time. Is a pull through sharpener ever actually worth it, or did I just fund that guy's vacation?
