I now see bus conversations differently after a tourist asked for help

In my experience, I always avoided talking to people on the bus to keep things simple. But last week, a tourist looked lost and asked me for directions to the museum, and helping them felt really good. Your mileage may vary, but that small talk changed my mind about being open to chat. Now I think those quick talks can make both people feel a bit better.

Honestly, the part where you said you always avoided talking to people on the bus shocked me. I could never stay that quiet for that long. Tbh it's wild to me you went years without a single chat. Ngl that tourist really broke a huge streak for you. Good for you for letting that change your mind though.
