I think the 'ask anything' rule is getting watered down lately

I've been here since the start, and the vibe has really shifted in the last six months. It used to be you could ask a truly random question and get a real discussion. Now, half the posts feel like they're just fishing for a specific answer or trying to start an argument. I saw a post yesterday asking about dream meanings that got a dozen replies, but a genuine question about local zoning laws got ignored. What changed? I think the community got bigger and people started treating it like a general advice column instead of a place for open-ended curiosity. Has anyone else noticed this shift, or is it just me?
