I used to write all my questions down in a notebook before posting them online.
I had a specific blue notebook from 2018 where I'd draft every single thing I wanted to ask. About six months ago, I just started typing directly into the forum box. The change happened because I lost that notebook on a bus in Chicago. Has anyone else dropped a whole system and found it actually worked out better?

Funny how losing a physical thing can force a better habit. That's happened to me with paper maps and cooking recipes. You cling to the old way, then the system breaks and you realize the new method is just faster. Typing directly probably cuts out a middle step that wasn't really needed. Sometimes the accident is what makes you update.

Yeah I'm with you on that, @eric_carr probably didn't think losing a little plastic nub would save him time but here we are. I had a similar thing with my old GPS unit that used a cord. The cord broke and I just used voice directions on my phone. Turns out I didn't need to punch in an address twice or mess with a mount that never held steady. Sometimes you gotta lose the tool to find the better way.

Yeah, I was stubborn about my old notes app. Losing the stylus made me switch to typing and it's way better.
