My GPS rerouted me into a dead end during a delivery rush in Denver
I was hauling a couch across town and the app sent me down this alley that turned into a brick wall, total dead end with no room to turn around. Took me 20 extra minutes to back out while a guy in a truck behind me just laid on the horn. Has anyone else had a navigation app steer them into a straight up trap like that?
Oh man, that alley thing happened to me too, but I gotta say, the app itself isn't really steering you into a trap. It's just looking at the map data, and if some alley is marked as a road, it has no clue there's a brick wall at the end. The real issue is that the map info is wrong or out of date, so it's less the app being evil and more someone never reporting that spot. Backing out of a dead end with a couch in the truck sounds like a special kind of hell though, horn guy can go kick rocks.
