Spent $40 on a good quality notebook for my questions and it's a game changer

I used to just ask stuff online and forget the answers, but writing them down helps me think it through. The paper is thick enough that my pen doesn't bleed through, which makes a big difference. Has anyone else found a simple tool that helped them get more from asking questions?

Thick paper is nice but it's just a notebook. Paulc93 has a point about free apps being fine for messy thoughts.

Ever try a voice recorder app for this? I read somewhere that talking through a problem out loud uses a different part of your brain than writing. It's a free tool that can help you sort through messy thoughts before you even put pen to paper.
