Unpopular take on those neighborhood buy nothing groups

Honestly, I think the local Buy Nothing group near me in Phoenix has gone downhill. Last month I offered up a practically new desk and got three messages asking if I could deliver it 20 minutes away. Isn't the whole point to keep stuff local and reduce waste, not turn it into a free delivery service?

Did you actually have people asking you to deliver a desk? I used to think folks were exaggerating about that stuff, but that would change my mind too.

@emma684 you're not alone, I had someone once ask if I could bring a whole couch set to their apartment on my bike.
