Warning: That picnic area at Lake Worth has a serious bird problem now

I was out at the Lake Worth picnic shelter last Saturday with my kids and those seagulls have gotten aggressive. One swooped down and snatched a whole hot dog bun right out of my 6 year old's hand while she was holding it. I've lived here 15 years and it's never been this bad, like they're not even scared of people anymore. Has anyone else noticed this at other parks around here or is it just our spot?

Did they think about feeding them earlier in the day to keep them full?

That happened to my cousin's little girl out there last month, totally freaked her out.
