Appreciation post: My son's class loved the eclipse photo I sent

I shared a picture I took of the solar eclipse with my boy's school. His teacher used it for a lesson, and the whole class got excited about astronomy. It felt good to spark that interest.

It's not just a picture in a book anymore when you see it happen. That connection is pretty powerful. Makes the whole universe seem less like a bunch of facts to memorize.
