Five people in my astronomy club posted the same Orion Nebula pic with the hue slider cranked to purple
I kept quiet for a month, then shared my raw stack next to the edited one at our Tuesday meetup, and the room went quiet because the trap is real. The trapezium stars were blown out to white blobs in all five shots, so I asked what exposure length they used and every single one said 30 seconds at ISO 3200. Has anyone here made a side by side sheet showing what 10 second subs look like next to 30 second ones?
