Showerthought: I spent 2 years stacking moon shots at ISO 800 before someone pointed at my histogram
A guy at the Austin stargazing meet last Saturday glanced at my camera and said I was clipping half the highlights on the lunar limb, which explains why all my stacked shots looked flat gray. Anyone else learn a basic setting the hard way at a star party?
