That freak clear sky week in October 2022 was a trap. My camera sensor is still paying for it.

That week in October was so bright I had to shoot at f/16 just to keep the shutter speed down. Honestly, my sensor picked up more dust specs in those five days than the whole year before. Tbh I'm still finding new spots in every sky shot from that period. It felt like the sun was personally trying to ruin my gear.

Tell me about it, @jackson.brooke. Shooting at f/16 is just asking for trouble with dust, right? That harsh light shows every single speck. I had the same fight with my sensor that week. Makes you wonder if a smaller aperture is ever worth the cleanup.
