Just hit 100 hours on my dehumidifier this summer and the bucket is still dry

I bought a 50-pint Frigidaire dehumidifier for my basement back in May and it's run nonstop since then. The gauge says the humidity dropped from 68% to 45% steady now, and I haven't had to empty the bucket once because it drains into the floor sink. Has anyone else had one of these things run that long without any hiccups?

Check your drain line for any kinks or clogs yet? I had to snake mine out after about 60 hours because a bit of lint backed it up and the float switch killed the unit. Also curious what your basement temp is running. My Frigidaire 50-pinter slows way down under 65 degrees and the compressor cycles off more often.

I actually read in a forum that some dehumidifiers use a thermal cutoff switch that can trip if the intake air drops below 62 degrees for too long... makes the compressor think something's overheated when it's just cold. My basement sits around 60 in the winter and my old 70-pinter would just stop pulling water entirely below that point. Might be worth checking your manual for minimum operating temp specs.
