Paid $250 for a foundation repair quote that was just a sales pitch

Last month a company came out to look at my crawlspace in Decatur, spent 10 minutes under the house, then tried to sell me a $12,000 drainage system without any evidence. Has anyone else had better luck with a smaller local crew in the area who actually inspects first?
