After 6 seasons of trail riding I finally checked my tire pressure with a real gauge instead of the old thumb poke

So what did the gauge actually read? I'm betting you were running like 12 psi in the front and didn't even know it. Once you start checking for real you'll probably notice your tires creep down a pound or two a month just sitting there. It's kind of wild how long you can ride on squishy tires and just write it off as "that's how the trail feels.
