TIL my 4 year old battery was the problem all along, not the carburetor
My 2017 Polaris started running rough back in June so I tore into the carburetor three times. Cleaned jets, replaced gaskets, even put a new fuel filter on. Nothing fixed the bogging issue. Finally last weekend my neighbor came over and said check the voltage while cranking. Battery was reading 10.2 volts under load instead of 12.6. Slapped a new $85 battery in from the farm store and it fired right up and idles perfect now. Just wasted like 8 hours and $30 in carb parts for nothing. Has anyone else chased a fuel issue for weeks only to find out it was electrical the whole time?

Ngl, did you check the battery ground cable too or just swap the battery? Those Polaris grounds are finicky as hell sometimes.
