Warning: check your wheel bearings before the trail, not after
I ran 3 seasons without ever greasing mine, then last Saturday outside Flagstaff a hub got so hot the grease turned to black sludge and the wheel nearly locked at 25 mph. A buddy heard the grinding before I felt anything, that sound was my wake-up call. Anyone else skip maintenance until something fails?
