Am I the only one who got burned by those cheap LED headlight bulbs?
Ngl I wasted about 150 bucks on those no-name LED bulbs off Amazon last spring for my personal truck. Thought I was saving money compared to the name brand ones. They were bright for like 3 weeks then one started flickering. Took me a whole afternoon to pull the housing apart again and swap them out. By the time I got replacements under warranty the shipping took a month and they were the wrong fitment anyway. Ended up just putting my old halogens back in and eating the loss. Anyone else learn this lesson the hard way or am I the only sucker here?

Wait, did you buy the ones that claimed they were "canbus ready" and had those little cooling fans on the back? I fell for the exact same bait last year on my old pickup. They were super bright for about a month, then one started cutting out every time I hit a bump. I spent three evenings trying to zip-tie the cooling fan to stop it from shaking loose. Finally just chucked them in the garage and went back to my old halogens too. These cheap LED bulbs are basically hit or miss for the price.

Lmao @the_joel hold up. You spent three evenings trying to zip-tie a cooling fan? That is exactly the kind of junk I bought. I actually had one of those fans fall off completely and rattle around inside the headlight housing for a week before I could fish it out with a coathanger. It sounded like a loose screw in a blender every time I hit a pothole. Worst part was they dimmed after two months like they were giving up on life. I swear these companies just slap "canbus ready" on anything with a wire.
