Dropped $340 on a used frame rack and it paid for itself in about six weeks
Back in 2019 I was pulling a bent unibody on a borrowed setup and it kept slipping, so I finally put $340 on a used frame rack from a guy in Fresno who was closing his place. It looked rough but the anchors held, and I got two insurance jobs done in the first month that I would have turned away before. The math worked out to about six weeks before I was ahead on it. Funny how the old timers did all this with chains and a tree and made it look easy. Curious what the rest of you spent on your first real pull setup, and whether you regret going new or used.
