Dropped $80 on a stud welder kit I used twice and it's collecting dust
Bought one of those cheap stud welder kits about 3 years ago thinking I'd use it for every dent pull, but the slide hammer that came with it kept slipping and I ended up going back to my old hook and pick method anyway. Maybe it's just me but for the small stuff I do, a $15 set of picks has honestly done more than that whole kit ever did, and the welder tips alone cost me another $20 to replace. Anyone else got a tool they regret buying or am I the only one with a shelf full of stuff I barely touch?

That slide hammer slipping is why mine sits too, hook and pick just works better for small dents.
