Had to pick between a used Spanesi puller and a new Chinese one for $800 less
Went with the Spanesi after reading horror stories about the cheap one breaking after 6 months. Three weeks in and the Spanesi is solid but that $800 could've bought a new welder. Anyone else gamble on budget frame machines and regret it?

Brother I feel your pain. I once bought a cheap truck lift from some place online and it showed up with the bolts all stripped and a manual written in what looked like Google Translate from mandarin to russian then to english. I still have nightmares about that thing wobbling with a half ton on it. At least with the Spanesi you know it wont fold up and die on you, even if that welder would have been nice. $800 is a lot of dough but a new frame machine breaking in the middle of a job will cost you more in headaches and lost time.

Wait, so the instructions were in Russian AND Chinese? That's some next-level translation roulette right there, @tessa_kim3. Sounds like that lift was more of a "maybe it'll work, maybe it won't" kind of deal, huh?
