Hit 500 panels sprayed last Tuesday and it honestly felt weird
Was clearing out my booth log book and realized I crossed 500 refinish jobs since January. Felt like it snuck up on me because most of them were small bumper and door jobs at the shop in Tucson, not full resprays. Does anyone else track their panel count or am I just being a nerd about it?

Saw a body shop guy on YouTube say the average tech does about 40 to 60 panels a month, so 500 since January is right in that range if you are steady. He keeps a tally on a whiteboard in his bay and marks one off after each job gets painted. Sounds odd but it actually makes sense since small jobs add up fast and you never notice the pile growing. My booth log only shows what got sprayed each day, never a total, so maybe I should start adding it up before the year ends.
