My first experience with R.I.P.S. rods had me doubting, now I use them daily

Back in 2018 I had a customer bring in a F-150 that was side swiped real bad, quarters and rockers were toast. The other tech, Dave, kept talking about pulling with these little serrated rods instead of a chain and clamp. I thought it was gimmicky, like those magnetic dent pullers you see on late night TV. Dave let me watch him set up two pulls on the inner structure, and I swear that metal moved back smoother than anything I'd done with a conventional setup in 15 years at the shop in Akron. Now I've got a full set and I use them on almost every unibody pull, especially when the original weld seams are still intact. I still use chains for the heavy frame work, no question there. But has anyone else found R.I.P.S. rods cut down their setup time by like half or is it just me?

Man, that's exactly how I felt when I first tried them too.
