PSA: warming panel bond in a bucket of hot water changed my life on cold mornings
I work out of a small shop in Fargo and in January my panel bond was so thick it would barely come out of the tube, so a guy at the parts counter told me to drop the sealed tubes in a bucket of hot tap water for about 10 minutes before mixing. I tried it on a quarter panel job and it flowed like it was July, plus the tubes squeezed out almost every last drop instead of leaving that hard plug in the bottom. Does anyone know if the warm stuff sets up weaker or if it's the exact same strength once it cures?
