Used to hate plastic filler spreaders, now I swear by them

I always used metal spreaders because they felt more professional, but after a job last month on a 2005 Civic I grabbed a plastic one and the flex actually helped me feather the edge way smoother. Took me like 10 minutes less on the block sanding. Anyone else made the switch and stuck with it?

Wrong. Plastic spreaders bend way less than metal ones.

Wait, you're saying plastic ones actually flex less than metal? That's the opposite of everything I've seen.
