Watched a guy at the Phoenix shop prep a panel with a red scuff pad and it made me rethink my whole 320 grit routine
I was at a shop in Phoenix picking up a bumper and saw this older guy scuffing a whole fender with a red pad on a DA before sealer, said he hasn't touched 320 for that step in years. Half of me thinks he's cutting corners and half of me thinks I've been wasting time and paper this whole time. Anyone here scuff with red pads before sealer or is that a no go in your booth?
