Waterborne basecoat vs solvent, my booth decision backfired in Tulsa

Honestly, I switched my whole shop to waterborne last spring after a paint rep swore it would cut drying time. First three jobs looked fine, but a silver Toyota Corolla came out with mottling so bad the owner refused delivery. The rep said my airflow was too low, 40% below spec, so now I'm stuck with both systems and a $6000 booth upgrade debate. Ngl, has anyone else had waterborne go sideways on them or was it just my setup?
